A probability is not a go-ahead
Everything here is an estimate of how often an outcome happens. It can be tempting to see “our model says 68%” and treat it as approval to bet. Be clear about what that means: at 68%, roughly one time in three you lose. Over a season, those losing thirds do not arrive neatly one by one. They bunch together. At that probability a run of five straight losers turns up about once in every few hundred bets, so meeting one does not mean something has gone wrong.
The point that often sounds most convincing needs the same caution. A value bet says the price looks wrong. It does not say the result is likely. A pick with a large edge and a 25% probability should still lose three times out of four, while remaining the best price on the page. If any number here makes a bet feel safe, it has been understood the wrong way.
18+ only, or older if local law requires it
This site includes gambling-related material and is meant only for adults: 18, or above that if the legal age where you are is higher. If you are below that age, the betting links here are not for you, and the predictions will not make that worth changing.
When betting is no longer just entertainment
Not a diagnosis — just common warning signs people often spot late.
- Trying to recover losses, instead of betting because the price looked good.
- Raising stakes after recent losses, not because the edge has improved.
- Using money that had another purpose.
- Keeping the amount or frequency hidden from people close to you.
- Finding it hard to stop for a week without real effort.
- Feeling relief, not enjoyment, when a bet wins.
If any of this sounds familiar, BeGambleAware provides free, confidential advice and can direct you towards support. Help services are arranged nationally, and we will not list a helpline for a country you may not be in. Search for the gambling support service in your own country, and treat the first state-funded or charity-run result as a better starting point than the first advert.
What is in our control, and what is not
We cannot set limits for you. There is no account on this site, no deposit, no balance, and no way for us to block, pause or exclude anything. The tools that actually help — deposit limits, loss limits, time-outs, self-exclusion — sit inside the account held by whoever has your money. National self-exclusion schemes also exist in a number of countries, and both of these are completely outside our control.
What we can do is be straight with you about the odds. In practical terms, and visible on the pages:
- We show probabilities rather than picks, so each claim can be compared with what really happened.
- We show the misses too. The backtest on the accuracy page includes the fixtures it got wrong and names the league where our calibration did not meet our own tolerance.
- We avoid certainty-style or no-danger betting copy, and that same page explains why a claim like that cannot be true.
- The betting button is not shown on any fixture row where our own model says the price is worse than our probability. That is where honesty costs us clicks, and that is why it matters.
If gambling is no longer fun, the next useful step is not a sharper model. It is talking to someone whose job is to help.
